Description: Fine Warren Spahn professional model baseball glove c.1950s. Rawlings personal model glove as worn by Spahn retaining its original manufacturer's label on the leather back strapping. Vintage "21" written in black marker on the back of the glove indicative of Spahn's uniform numbers. Left handed throwing model glove exhibits very fine evident use throughout while retaining its original surface and lacings. Some light to moderate rigidity exists due to lack of use and aging with small piece of the lacings to the webbing missing at the bottom. Documented Hall of Fame player gloves are widely regarded as the rarest and most desirable pieces of game used equipment within the hobby. The particular offered example is one of the most significant documented pitcher game worn gloves to have entered the marketplace and is being sold for the first time publicly. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions (glove): VG-EX
