Description: Fine Milwaukee County Stadium original painting presented to Warren Spahn on "Spahnie Day" September 17, 1963. Enormous oil on canvas rendering of Milwaukee County Stadium which was presented to Spahn during ceremonies held on the field for "Spahnie Day" honoring his career with the Braves. The painting is beautifully executed with stunning visuals and usage of color perfectly capturing the essence of the Milwaukee landmark. Overall measurements are 48"x70" in its original frame with applied brass placard inscribed, "Presented to Warren Spahn by Wisconsin Baseball Fans Sept. 17, 1963". Signed at lower right by artist E.D. Lewandowski dated 1963. Superb painting with exceptional presence with special note to its impressive size format.
