Lot Number: 439

Description: High grade 1967 NFL Championship Game full ticket (the "Ice Bowl"). Desirable full unused ticket to December 31, 1967 game played at Lambeau Field between the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys. Regarded as one of the greatest games ever played, temperatures were so frigid at kickoff that use of whistles was suspended by the officiating staff when they froze to their lips. With the thermometer reading 20 below zero late in the fourth quarter and players on both sides physically spent, Bart Starr (who had been sacked 8 times on the slick field) ran a surprise play scoring the winning touchdown and shoring up the Packers legend as one of the great dynasties of 20th Century sports. Ticket remains very well preserved with little to no evident wear and just a touch of fading to color. Encapsulated by PSA with assigned grade of NM-MT (8): PSA NM-MT 8
