Description: 2003 LSU National Championship ring. Very handsome ring as presented to the LSU Tigers for their 2003 National Championship title against the Oklahoma Sooners. Ring top features pronounced "LSU" gold lettering with inset purple gemstones surrounded by a diamond field. "National Champions" lettering is found around the perimeter. "2003 SEC Champions" on side panel along with Sugar Bowl logo and team record of 13-1. Other side panel has "Montgomery" with BCS Championship trophy and score from the title game. Incised "Greg Montgomery" along with "Balfour 10K" on interior ring band weighing approximately 1.5 Troy oz., size is 12 1/4 to 12 3/4. The Tigers captured the National Championship in the 2003 season with the victory over Oklahoma and eventual designation as the BCS Champion by way of a controversial selection over USC: NMEstimated Price Range: ($5,000-$7,500)
