Description: Vintage football equipment ensemble w/name brand pants and helmet c.1920s-1930s. Period array of football related material includes heavy cloth/canvas leather/plastic re-enforced pants retaining crisp and well defined early "Spalding" tag in waist; two-tone leather hard shell helmet with deeply impressed "Reach" marking on front and larger logo stamped on circular portion of suspension style interior; high quality letterman's' style sweater ("H" patch on front) with "Baum's Sporting Goods" tag in collar and chain stitched player identifier in waist; Olympic brand cleats with unmarked stirrup socks; and period cardboard stock megaphone with metal ring and leather band.
