Description: 1928 Pittsburgh Pirates autographed baseball with others. Red and black stitched Spalding J.Heydler ONL baseball has been signed by a total of (26) mostly Pirates including P.Waner, L.Waner, Hargreaves, Bush, Traynor, Brickell, Grantham, and Grimes. Period handwritten identifier on sweetspot noting Hemsley a member of the Pirates with Babe Herman above noted a member of the Brooklyn Robins. There are several other Robins present as well. Ball displays light even toning and has period coat of shellac applied. League stampings remain unusually bold. Includes auction LOA from JSA: Ball EX, Sigs.
