Description: 1919 World Series program (at Cincinnati) scored for Game (1). Original program issued for game played at Redland Field, neatly scored in pencil for Game (1) which was played on October 1. Eddie Cicotte, on the mound for Chicago, hit Reds batter Morrie Rath signaling to all involved that "the fix" was on and the World Series was to be thrown. Moderate wear throughout including consistent wear at corners and edges, discoloration, splits to areas of binding, and a vertical centerfold. Scorecard page is no longer affixed and has more pronounced wear at edges. Program also exhibits some moisture damage which is primarily evident on the back cover: VG
