Description: 1965 John Purdin Los Angeles Dodgers professional model road uniform attributed to the World Series. Desirable complete uniform, dates to the teams' Championship season. Flannel jersey has "Los Angeles" team name lettered across the front in stylized font with player number "35" below. Number also appears on back. "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag on front tail with the size "42" and "Purdin 65" is chain stitched below. Wash tag on inside front tail has adjacent "Set 1 1965" flag tag. Matching pants have similar Rawlings, wash, and year/set flag tags. Also present in waistband is embroidered strip tag reading "Purdin 33 26." Very well preserved all original uniform with light evident usage and wash wear. Includes signed letter from Purdin stating that this is the uniform which he wore during the 1965 World Series (while he did not pitch he is listed on the Dodgers Series roster) and LOA from Hunt Auctions: EXEstimated Price Range: ($1,500-$2,500)
