Description: Babe Ruth single signed baseball. Lightly toned Spalding "Star" model ball signed boldly across the sweetspot by Ruth in black fountain pen. Signature exhibits a notably visual appearance rating 8 out of 10. Under close examination it is apparent that some areas of the signature have been enhanced in the period with a very similar black fountain pen ink nearly identical in consistency to that of the original Ruth signature. Ball itself remains in unused condition with appropriate light age toning and a few small ink marks on left panel mentioned for accuracy only. Desirable exemplar with excellent display qualities at a very reasonable estimate range (due to enhancement) entering the collecting marketplace for the first time publicly.
