Description: Lot of (7) 1920s "Professional Base Ball in America" guide books. Small grouping of uncommon publications being "a compilation of the agreements and rules which define the relations of leagues, clubs, and players." All have nicely done covers which in most cases includes raised and/or gilt colored lettering. Includes (2) 1921 books, one paper bound the other faux leather bound (EX-EX/MT); (2) 1924 (both paper bound - VG/EX and EX); (2) dated 1926 on cover (VG) and identified in handwriting on spine. First is paper bound and has affixed paper slip on front reading "as originally issued." Second is leather bound and has "John A. Heydler" name lettered on. Notated "with 1927 amendments" on cover and filled with handwritten notations and glued in revisions; and 1928 binder bound edition with Heydlers' name again lettered on cover and having numerous pencil notations throughout (GD/VG-VG with cover wear).
