Description: Heubach German bisque porcelain baseball figurine c.1880s. Attractive color tinted batter figurine with hand painted uniform and accents. Retains nearly all of the original surface coloration with light surface toning/soiling throughout. A few small imperfections include chip to hat (color filled in), thumb missing on upper hand, and very small surface fissure on leg. Bat is a replacement Impressed German manufacturer stampings "Geschuetzt-Gesetzlich" appear under the base. Seldom offered larger version stands 14" tall: EX-EX/MTEstimated Price Range: ($500-$1,000)
