Description: 1919 Detroit Tigers signed baseball with Jennings and Heilmann. Rare and desirable early team ball being one of the few pre-1920 examples to have surfaced. Blue and orange stitched Reach B.Johnson OAL baseball has been signed by approximately (20) including Hall of Famers Hugh Jennings (with "1919" inscribed in his hand) and Harry Heilmann, both rating 7 to 7/8 out of 10 (no Cobb). Balance of autographs rate from a faint 1 to 1/2 to 7 out of 10 and include a mix of what appears to be players and executives with Shorten, Dowd, Tuthill (trainer), Veach, Dauss, and others. Ball displays even toning with scattered wear. Presence of player Dowd indicates that the ball was signed during either Spring Training or very early in the season.
