Description: 1984 Joe DiMaggio Distinguished New Yorker award medal. Presentational medal was given to Joe DiMaggio by the Bowery Savings Bank in celebration of their 150th year in business. The medal features a depiction of the New York City skyline including the Empire State building and Statue of Liberty with raised lettering and date around the border. Framed in a shadowbox style display along with an inscribed brass placard to DiMaggio. Includes 8"x10" color photograph of DiMaggio wearing the award. Originally offered as part of the DiMaggio Estate and will include letter of provenance from his granddaughters: NMEstimated Price Range: ($750-$1,000)
