Description: Willie Mays professional model baseball bat c.1965-1968. Louisville Slugger 125 baseball bat has "Mays" block lettered into barrel end and model number "S2" stamped in the knob which also bears period "24 giants" marker notation. Measures 35" long and weighs 33.8oz. Light evident usage wear throughout with a pair of severe cracks (one each in handle and barrel), which were secured (partially) at one point with glue. The bat has surface discoloration running nearly the entire length with what appears to be some pine tar remnant below near handle. Small chip at the end. Condition issues aside, this remains a desirable professional model displaying a label period which includes his 1965 MVP Award winning campaign.
