Description: Superb 1979 Willie Stargell Pittsburgh Pirates professional model road jersey. Desirable all black jersey having "Pirates" team name lettered across the front in logo font with player number "8" below. Number also appears on back below "Stargell" nameplate. "Descente" manufacturer's tag on front tail along with wash tag and embroidered "8 46 79" strip tag. This denoted player number, size, and year. Worthy of significant mention is the outline of a "Stargell Star" which has been removed from the upper left chest. Evident usage and wash wear with appropriate puckering to back number.
