Interesting grouping of professional quality/model material to include St. Louis Cardinals hat as used in Spring Training of 1957 (includes 1957 Cardinals sketchbook publication in which he is listed along with uniform number 45 which also appears written under brim); Wilson model "A5480-M" plastic insert worn by Wieand as head protection while batting in the Minor Leagues (first of its type we have seen); (3) hats as related to his play in the Minor Leagues including (2) Richmond Virginians and (1) Columbus Cardinals; (2) Wilson Official Pacific Coast League baseballs remaining in original box; and (2) vintage top of the line pro quality unused Rawlings Catchers (model NWCX) and baseman's (Stan Musial model TG12) gloves.
