Massive scrapbook chronicling a large portion of Harmon Killebrew's career in baseball beginning in 1969, continuing throughout Managerial days, and into retirement. Comprised of newspaper articles, photographs, correspondence, telegrams, various proclamations/award certificates, and others. Highlights to include: Congratulatory telegrams received upon winning the 1969 AL MVP and hitting his 500th homerun (includes Joe Cronin, Billy Martin, and Bowie Kuhn), 1969 letter from twins with NY Yankees news ticker paper mistakenly noting his homerun total, original 1973 copy of the resolution which named Killebrew Drive, series of 1974 Killebrew Day proclamations including state of Minnesota and related game lineup card, several pieces related to 1984 HOF Induction, and others. In fine condition with (1) partially torn page. Measures 20"x25" being approximately 3" thick. Excellent breakdown value with numerous interesting and unique piece of ephemera.
