Description: Exceptionally rare Reach "Morrill Nose Mask" box with mask c.1900s-1910s. Original lidded cardboard box retains "Reach Morrill Nose Mask" label on end. This is the first Reach branded box for a Morrill nose guard that we have seen or handled and only our second Morrill box in nearly (20) years. Box offers fine display qualities with mild consistent age toning and light to moderate surface chipping throughout lid. Lower half of box has only a small piece of Reach log wrap missing at back. Label has (1) small chip at right edge. Strip of material missing at back of lid which also has split front seams. Includes period nose guard in well preserved state with moderate oxidation to surface and toning to intact canvas strap and hardened tooth guard insert: Box VG-VG/EX, Nose guard VG/EXEstimated Price Range: ($2,000-$3,000)
