Description: High grade Princeton style helmet c.1920s. Well preserved leather helmet with lid fastened to body in (4) places in typical "Princeton" style with unusual factory affixed visor similar to those used in vintage lacrosse helmets of a different type. Light evident usage wear with small scattered areas of discoloration and the name "Fordy" written on in several places. Retains original canvas strap with leather chin mount. Heavy wool neck covering is fully intact as is interior leather and padding. Visor displays bold impressed "Ken-Wel" manufacturer's markings.
