Description: Famed Negro League venue Hinchliffe Stadium pin and pass c.1940s. 2.5"x3.5" Heavy paper stock pass good for complimentary admission to Saturday baseball games of the "National Colored League", displays age toning and light scattered wear when viewed from the front. Back shows slightly more discoloration and has pencil notation. Several creases do not break the front printed surface. 2" Pin for "Hinchliffe Stadium Knot Hole League" exhibits very minor toning and wear, and retains original "Whitehead & Hoag" paper insert on back. Hinchliffe was built in Patterson, NJ from 1931-1932 and is one of a scant few Negro League Stadiums which still stands today. During its heyday it hosted such legendary teams as the New York Black Yankees and Cubans, and players such as Oscar Charleston, Josh Gibson, and Cool Papa Bell: Ticket VG/EX, Pin EX-EX/MT
