Description: Desirable Hank Aaron professional model baseball bat c.1959-1960 with related signed baseball. Louisville Slugger 125 model baseball bat with "Hank Aaron" signature burned into barrel end measures 36" long and weighs 33oz. Model number "A96" has been stamped in the knob, the rarest of all ordered by Aaron with a total of approximately (13) shipped. Evident usage wear inclusive of ball transfer and stitch marks are visible throughout with heavy wear, and light grain separation, primarily concentrated on the upper hitting surface. Aaron bats dating to 1950s are exceptionally scarce with very few coming to market. Factory records indicate that this model was produced and shipped only in the 1959-60 time frame. Obtained by the father of our consignor in 1959 and includes a 1959 Milwaukee Braves team signed baseball. Spalding W.Giles ONL baseball has been signed by approximately (25) including Aaron, Mathews, Spahn, Pafko, and Schoendienst. Ink signatures rate 1 to 7 out of 10. Ball displays wear and several scattered areas of surface loss. Highly desirable game bat from one of the premier players of all time.
