Description: Edd Roush professional model baseball bat c.1921-31. Early Louisville Slugger 125 model baseball bat with "Edd J Roush" facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 36" and weighs 33.5oz. Evident usage wear throughout inclusive of ball transfer, stitch, and cleat marks. Grain swelling to barrel is particularly accentuated on front above and below facsimile signature and a severe handle crack has been repaired. Handle also appears to have had (2) rings of tape applied at one time. One of the most consistent hitters of his day Roush rounded out an 18 year career with a .323 average, good enough for a spot within the top (50) All-Time.
