Description: Figural baseball statue by N.Muller c.1860s. One of the earliest and most desirable of all 19th century figural baseball items. Stands 7" tall, depicts a batsman wearing bib front style uniform with mid 19th century style hat. The white metal figural has an outer layer of silver paint, applied in the period over top of its original gilt wash. Marked "Muller NY 543 Patent" underneath the base. One of only three such examples we have encountered in the last twenty years: EXEstimated Price Range: ($2,500-$3,500)
