Lot Number: 253

Description: 1932 World Series program (at Chicago) scored Game (3) with ticket stub (Ruth's "called shot"). Original program issued for game played at Wrigley Field, scored neatly in pencil from Game (3) which was played on October 1. In one of the most storied moments in all of baseball, Babe Ruth, facing merciless heckling from the opposing Chicago Cubs bench, pointed to the centerfield bleachers. Pitcher Charlie Root dealt the next pitch which the Babe hit out of the park. Light evident corner and edge wear to covers with clean interior. Ticket stub has been affixed to the center scorecard page which has preserved it well (small pencil date notation): Program EX-EX/MT, Stub displays EX/MT+
