Description: Rare and important 1903 World Series program (at Pittsburgh). Original program issued for game played at Exposition Park, remains in very well preserved condition. Consistent light toning to covers which show a touch of wear at edges/corners. Front cover has (1) small hole (approximately 3/8" long), back cover has small tear (approximately same size) at left edge. A pair of vertical fold lines run throughout all pages along with some wrinkling as the program was likely folded in thirds and slid into a back pocket. Remarkably, the bound edge remains fully intact. Clean interior has Pirates star players pictured throughout and pre-printed lineups on unscored center page. The rarity of this program can not be overstated with this being, to the best of our knowledge, the only time an example has been offered publicly. We are aware of one other copy which resides in the Baseball Hall of Fame. As one of the sole survivors from National Pastime's very first World Series, the importance is indisputable.
