Description: Historic multi-signed baseball of Connie Mack's 1944 "All-Time Team" with Abbott and Costello. On August 4, 1944, baseball notables of past and present gathered at Shibe Park to commemorate Connie Mack and his then (50) year Managerial career in baseball. As part of the festivities Mack compiled and announced his "All-Time Team" comprised of those whom he felt represented the best position players alive at the time. All who were in attendance have signed this F.Frick Official National League baseball including Babe Ruth, Walter Johnson, George Sisler, Eddie Collins, Frank Baker, Honus Wagner, Bill Dickey, Lefty Grove, Tris Speaker, and Al Simmons. Also appearing that evening were comedians Bud Abbott and Lou Costello who performed their famous "Who's on first?" skit. Both have signed the ball as well. The blue ink signatures rate 8 to 9 out of 10 with only Costello falling lower at 5 out of 10. Ball exhibits even toning/soiling and scattered usage wear.
