Description: 1961 Jim Hegan New York Yankees home Coach's jersey attributed to the World Series. Classic New York Yankees home pinstriped flannel jersey with blue felt "NY" logo on front and number "44" on back. In the collar is a "Hegan" strip tag in blue chain stitch. "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag on front tail with size "44." Embroidered below are the year and set number, "61 Set 2." Presence of the Rawlings manufacturer's tag attributes the jersey to use in the World Series as the Yankees regular season jerseys were made by Spalding. The number on back has been expertly, and virtually undetectably, restored. Otherwise, the jersey exhibits moderate usage wear and is in fine, well preserved condition.
