Pair of large format 14.5"x17.5" bound books filled with articles and other ephemera related to Robert Clemente and the 1960s Pittsburgh Pirates. Highlight pieces include "Roberto Clemente" cut ink signature rating 8/9 out of 10, numerous Clemente cards, (2) Clemente snapshots, and several team/regionally issued photos/premiums. Balance is primarily newspaper articles, neatly trimmed and glued in. Covers separating on both and interior pages exhibit age toning and some small tears/chipping. Note that the material within has been secured with tape/paste/photo corners (removable only some cases). Also includes 3,000th hit commemorative poster and C.Feeney Official National League ball signed by (25) c.1970 Los Angeles Dodgers including Alston and Sutton (light even toning, signatures rate 7 to 9 out of 10).
