Description: Roberto Clemente autographed professional model baseball bat c.1961-67. Adirondack 302 model bat with "Clemente" block lettered in barrel end measures 35.75" long and weights 33.8oz. Light evident usage wear throughout including faint pine tar and cleat/ball transfer marks. Model "129X" stamped on knob which also bears period "21" in black marker (also written on barrel end). Signed on the barrel, "Best Wishes, Roberto Clemente" in what appears to be graphite pencil rating 7/8 out of 10. Clemente autographed game bats are notably rare with this particular example being one of three that we have handled. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions (bat), full LOA from JSA (autograph), and letter of provenance from the family: Bat EX, Sig. EX/MTEstimated Price Range: ($7,500-$10,000)
