Description: 1976 Cincinnati Reds World Series ring. Original 10K gold ring presented to groundskeeper Lubie Veal features a uniquely designed upper face which bears center (40) pt. diamond set within relief of the World Series trophy. Lettered "Cincinnati Reds '76 World Champions" around the edge. Left shank has name "VEAL" at top with "Big Red Machine" and the Reds "C" logo below. Right bears relief of Riverfront Stadium with "Reds 4 Yanks 0" above and period MLB logo below. Stamped "Balfour 10K" on interior band. Size 12 1/2. Clearly a point of pride to the former owner, the ring exhibits evident wear throughout however retains fine eye appeal. An exceptionally desirable ring representing the pinnacle of the Big Red Machine and their dominance of baseball. The only year in which this unique World Series Trophy background has been used: EX
