Description: 1970 Will Harridge "Achievement of the Year" Award presented to Earl Weaver. Black lacquered wooden backing with applied gold placard engraved, "The Chicago Chapter of the Baseball Writers' Association of America Present to Earl Weaver the Will Harridge Award for Achievement of the Year." At top is the "BBWAA" logo with additional logo at bottom flanked by the year, "1970." Measures 10" on each side on has "Balfour" manufacturer's markings on back. Very light scattered wear. The 1970 season ranks among Weaver's finest with the Orioles winning their first World Series title under his leadership.
