Description: Exceptional 2009 Chase Utley autographed game-used baseball bat (Phillies team letter and MLB). Marucci Handcrafted model "Utley Custom Cut II" baseball bat with block lettered "Chase Utley" in barrel end. Knob has player number, manufacturing and date specifications "9/12/08 26 35 10" (slightly obscured due to use) stamped in along with additional "TECO" stamping. Player number also written in cupped end. 33.5" Long, 32.1oz. MLB Authentication hologram (LH 454292) confirms it was last used on July 20, 2009. Evident usage wear including deeply embedded ball, stitch, and cleat marks, heavy pine tar/stick-um, and significant handle crack (4" section of handle missing on back side). The offered is one of the finest examples of a modern-era game-used bat that we have handled with regard to usage wear characteristics and overall eye appeal. Game images from the day before show Utley using what may be this bat with similar patterns in the stick-um on the handle. Signed on the barrel in silver paint pen.
