Description: Rare and significant Robin Roberts Hall of Fame plaque display piece. Original photographic display plaque presented to Robin Roberts upon his induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1976. Features a photographic replica of his HOF plaque matted and framed in original gilt titled matting and tooled leather frame. Frame exhibits some minimal light age wear and retains original easel back. Hall of Fame member personal display plaques are among the most seldom offered presentational items of their type. The offered plaque certainly ranks as one of the finest exemplars to have become available to the collecting public with regard to player distinction. Measures 9 3/4"x11 3/4" overall and is accompanied by a series of original images picturing Roberts receiving the offered plaque one of which is autographed by Roberts.
