Description: Rare Robin Roberts 1952 All-Star Game professional model baseball bat. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 34" long and weighs 32oz. The bat shows light to moderate evident use including ball marks, stitching impressions, and barrel wear. Model M117 stamped on the knob end with -All-Star Game ROBERTS Philadelphia 1952" impressed on the barrel end. The edge of the knob has a small area of professional restoration to replace a chip. The 1952 All-Star Game played in Philadelphia was historic if for no other reason then the fact that it was shortened by rain after the fifth inning. The offered Roberts game used bat represents the only example within the collection. Notably scarce HOFer game bat is the first such example we have handled in 20 years.
