Superb example is without question one of the finest condition extant of this exceedingly rare and highly desirable pin. -World Series Phila. 1915" raised lettering on the top portion surrounds the Baseball Writers Association of America logo. Lower medallion has relief of pitching Quaker with game in progress background, ringed by intact red enameled portion which reads -Philadelphia National League Base Ball Club." The central ribbon is fully intact with minor fading to the once gold -PRESS" designation (very minor -pull" to hemmed right edge mentioned for accuracy). Marked -C.E. Caldwell & Co.
