Description: Rare September 9, 1960 AFL inaugural game program and ticket stub in bound collection. Original program was issued for Boston Patriots vs. Denver Broncos game at Boston University Field, they first played for the newly formed American Football League. Affixed to interior page is the first ticket stub to this important game that we have seen or handled along with relevant period newspaper clippings. Program has been professionally bound within an album of 1960 college football programs (also bearing glued in stubs and newsprint), and a 1961 Rose Bowl program (no stub).
