Description: 1923 Notre Dame yearbook signed by The Four Horseman, et. al. Exceedingly desirable edition of "The Dome" has been signed throughout by numerous attendees and executives of the school. The most notable among them are select members of the School's football team including Harry Stuhldreher, Don Miller, Elmer Layden, and Jim Crowley. Each has signed directly over their image in the section which covers the team. Famed Coach Knute Rockne has signed his portrait page which was later enhanced. Signatures of the notable subjects rate 7/8 to 8 out of 10. Book exhibits general exterior wear and soiling. Interior pages have separated from binding but remain affixed to covers at both the first and last pages. Signatures and notations throughout along with general handling and other wear. The Four Horseman represent the pinnacle of college football lore and this piece is the first we have handled in some time that was signed by all in the period.
