Description: 2009 New York Yankees World Series ring. Striking original ring as presented to members of the World Champion New York Yankees team in honor of their victory over the Philadelphia Phillies. 14K gold ring features the classic "NY" symbol on top inlaid with diamonds and inset on a blue field. Diamond shaped symbol is found underneath the "NY" with two rows of additional inset diamonds around the perimeter. One side panel lists "NOY" above the Yankees insignia with "Tradition" beneath. Other side panel displays "World Champions 2009" above an image of Yankee Stadium and "Unity" Interior ring band is marked Balfour 14K along with a Yankee Stadium Inaugural Season logo. Includes its original mahogany inlaid box with "World Champions 2009" in gold on the top. Uncommonly attractive modern era World Championship ring is the first example that we have seen offered at auction: NMEstimated Price Range: ($25,000-$35,000)
