Description: 1941 Negro National League Opening Day souvenir pin. Large 2" diameter pin as issued for a double header played between the Philadelphia Stars and New York Black Yankees. The game was played at Yankee Stadium and was notable in that both teams paid star pitcher Satchel Paige $100 each to come and pitch in the opening game.
