Description: **UPDATED** Cy Young photograph c.1910. Matted and framed 4"x6" image picturing Young in throwing pose wearing Cleveland uniform. Exceptional quality image shows fine detail with crisp registration. The offered photo captures the great Cy Young with the Cleveland Indians in 1910. He is caught in a mid-stride throwing pose, with a determined look on his face. Action photos of Young during his playing days are virtually non-existent, with this certainly one of the finest known to exist. The contrast of the photo is near perfect and its clarity is exceptional. The reverse contains the stamp of famed photographer Paul Thompson along with the hand written notation "Old Cy - Young Cleveland AM (1909-11)" This photo originates from Christie's famed Baseball Magazine photo sale of 1996 and carries the appropriate hologram from that event: NMEstimated Price Range: ($400-$600)
