Description: 1916 Boston Red Sox team photograph with Babe Ruth. Very fine original black and white image of the Red Sox team posed in full uniform at Fenway Park. Players include Babe Ruth, Duffy Lewis, Bill Carrigan, Herb Pennock, Carl Mays, and Harry Hooper. Image quality remains very strong with fine contrast. Front has some very minor inpainting to a creasing area which does intersect with Ruth's hat/forehead. Small, neatly printed numerals in period ink are found on each player which likely corresponded to printed identification key as published.
