Description: Oct. 2, 1939 Joe Jackson photograph. Black and white news service photograph taken at Jackson's liquor store in Greenville, SC. Image surface has some light surface crazing while retaining strong clarity and contrast. The date was (20) years after Jackson and (7) of his teammates were banned from baseball for allegedly plotting to throw the 1919 World Series.
