Lot Number: 432

Description: July 15, 1973 Nolan Ryan second no-hitter Dick Enberg scoring sheets. Pair of 8.5"x11.5" heavy paper stock scoring sheets as used during the historic Angels vs. Tigers game in Detroit. In one of the most dominating performances of the modern era, Ryan struck out 17 batters and allowed only 4 to reach base. Norm Cash supplied one of baseball's more lighthearted and memorable moments, stepping to the plate with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th holding a table leg rather than a bat. When told by umpire Ron Lucciano that he could not use it Cash replied "Why not? I won't hit him anyway." Filled out neatly in pencil with noteworthy attention to detail. Minor age toning and scattered light wear. Important historical record of Ryan's second career no-hitter. Includes letter of provenance from Dick Enberg: EX-EX/MT
