Description: 1986 Jimmie Reese California Angels professional model home jersey. White knit jersey retains its original "Angels" team name across the front with #50 beneath and US Flag patch on breast area. "Reese" lettering across the back with #50 underneath. Angels team logo patch remains on left sleeve with Rawlings tag and "Set 2 1986" flag tag on interior tail front. The jersey shows excellent usage and wash wear with Reese having autographed the back in black sharpie. The lot includes a Jimmie Reese single signed baseball. Black ink signature rates 8 out of 10 on B.Brown AL ball: EX-MT. Reese was one of the most beloved names in Angels baseball history serving as a coach until his passing in 1994 at the age of 92. Routinely referenced as "the nicest man in baseball," he has been noted as the oldest man to wear a Major League uniform in an official capacity.
