Description: 1886 figural baseball trophy by Pairpoint. Exceptional 19th century figural display piece by noted New York silversmith firm Pairpoint has three ring decorated crossed bats positioned atop a silverplated plinth with baseball base and ball ornaments. Inscribed on front and back edges of the base, "First Prize Base Ball" and "Brookline July 5th, 1886". Marked with Pairpoint Mfg. Co. hallmarks underneath, 4 1/2" tall: EX/MT-NM
