Description: Superb Willie Mays rookie era autographed photograph c.1951. Period black and white 8"x10" photograph is signed on the front in vintage blue fountain pen, "Best Wishes, Willie Mays." The signature rates 9 out of 10 with minor hesitation to the "B" mentioned for accuracy. Photo remains in near immaculate condition with several incidental flaws visible upon close inspection. Given the quality of imagery and early signature style, the offered photo can be considered among the finest Mays signed pieces extant.
