Description: New York Giants professional model hat c.1950s. Black hat with embroidered interlocking "NY" logo on front retains "Tim McAuliffe" manuf. label on the interior leather band. Size "7 5/8" is stamped inside. The hat, along with the Giants jacket also being offered, originates from the Muller collection. Although unconfirmed, it is loosely attributed, through family history, to have belonged to Leo Durocher. The size matches another Durocher hat consigned by Durocher's family that had been previously sold by Hunt Auctions. Exhibits moderate usage wear and soiling with soft brim. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions and letter of provenance from the Muller family: EXEstimated Price Range: ($200-$300)
