Description: Pepper Martin autographed photograph to Frank Frisch. Period sepia toned 7"x9" photograph c.1930s is signed on the front in vintage blue ink, "To the best of them all, Our Manager Frankie Frisch, Success Always, Sincerely J.L. Pepper Martin." The signature rates 8 out of 10. Believed to have been inscribed to Frisch upon his departure from the Cardinals in 1939. Martin is a cult figure in Cardinals lore having played on the legendary "Gas House Gang" teams of the 1930s and was a key member of (2) World Championship teams. Framed.
