Description: ***LATE ADDITION*** Significant 1909 Cleveland Naps partial team signed "Bounding Rock" baseball. Exceedingly scarce Reach "Bounding Rock" baseball has been signed by (13) mostly Cleveland Naps players including Hall of Famers Cy Young, Nap Lajoie, and Kid Nichols, along with period stars Bill Bradley (twice), Nick Altrock, Bobby Lowe, Albert Selbach, and Tom Raftery. The black fountain pen signatures rate 2 to 5 out of 10. The panel with Young offers fine display qualities and Lajoie's signature is among the strongest on the ball. The extreme rarity of pre-1910 team signed baseballs can not be overstated with few more than a handful known. The offered carries added significance hosting (3) Hall of Famers on a career contemporary piece. The ball itself exhibits consistent age toning with scattered surface flaking and a coat of applied shellac. The manufacturer stampings remain bold and highly visible.
