Description: Notre Dame football letterman's sweater c.1950s. Heavy gauge navy blue wool sweater has an embroidered and intertwined "ND" patch on the front. Retains "W.O.W.O. Sand Knit" label inside the collar. "E.Kapish" name is chain stitched on the interior tail indicating likely use by Notre Dame football player Gene Kapish who was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in 1956.
